Ling Lam is an Educational Technology Specialist and Computer Technology Instructor at the Monticello Academy, a K-8 private school in Santa Clara, California. She has over 10 years of experience teaching and coaching STEAM education and advising education management across the United States.

 

Ling has taught K-12 computing classes, and has coached robotics and Science Olympiad teams, leading them to state and national awards. In 2016, CollegeBoard chose Ling as the lead and founding intro and AP CS Principles teacher. Ling’s sophomore students at CollegeBoard have scored above national average, securing an academic advantage for college admission.

 

Ling has a Master’s degree with magna cum laude honor in Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her expertise includes non-profit organizations, curriculum development, social emotional learning, 21st century skills, EdTech, and project-based learning.
