Calvin Chan is Senior Game Producer at Animoca Brands, the award-winning mobile developer and publisher. With a strong background in programming, Calvin leads the development team behind various mobile games and apps that have been played by millions of people around the world.

 

Both of Calvin’s parents are teachers, which gave him an early interest in teaching and set him on the track to become a teacher himself. His interest in technology, however, proved more powerful and he focused his studies on computer science to become a programmer and later a producer of mobile games and educational apps featured by both Apple and Google.

 

Now, Calvin is merging his professional drive and expertise with his first interest: teaching. He runs coding courses at the Dalton Learning Lab that are designed to foster a passion for programming, logic, and creativity in young students. Calvin wants all his students to be ready for the technology-dominant landscape in which they will establish their future careers.
